To the editor:
Finally the Lynn ferry is back, just when it should be doing its part relieving the massive congestion on our roads.
I’m giving credit to our Lynn delegation for the non-stop pursuit of what should have been a no-brainer from the onset.
Unfortunately, the prior administration did not look at public transportation as a priority. Just take a look at the T. Need I say more?
We now have the Healey-Driscoll administration that understands the importance of having ferry service, not to mention the new housing and future developments that will also benefit to alleviate congestion and have alternative means of transportation.
To the Lynn delegation, a big thank you for working tirelessly getting the ferry service back and running!
