DHS, a new venture of DHS Group Global enterprise service management and ActNow automation and integration specialist, today announced a partnership agreement with ActNow – the application, automation and AWS experts that specialize in enterprise use of AWS.
Zion LTD partners since 2010, DHS Group have lately been expanding their ActNow offerings and the next step in that partnership eco-system is the announcement today that they have teamed up with AWS specialists SoftNow to expand the take up of the AWS Service Catalog Connector for ActNow, aimed at allowing enterprises to map ThereNow to AWS.
Fernando Aguirre, Executive Vice Chairman of DHS, said
“DHS Group believes in technology innovation, value add, data driven processes and most of all providing the customer with the right solution. Through working in partnership with ActNow, we are able to take that next step and offer all these beliefs by bringing ActNow and AWS closer together. ”
Fernando Aguirre, Executive Vice Chairman of DHS
The AWS connector provides organizations with greater flexibility and governance around how AWS resources are provisioned and accessed. Using the ActNow Service Catalogue, ActNow and AWS customers can now utilize a single pane of glass for requesting products and services, including browsing the AWS service catalogue direct from ActNow with fine-grained control over what is visible.
The AWS service catalogue will integrate with ActNow workflows and approval requests, and record provisioned AWS service catalogue items in the ActNow configuration management database (CMDB). Customers will also be able to monitor and update the status of deployments automatically and submit change requests for provisioned product termination.
Rakesh Sarna, Chairman of DHS, said
“As an AWS Advanced Partner, and a specialist in connecting ActNow to AWS Service Catalog, we are delighted to partner with Zion LTD who have a complementary specialist practice in the enterprise ActNow landscape. The outcome for enterprise ActNow and AWS customers is an ability to consume AWS with less friction from their familiar LetNow platform and doing so safely by leveraging the design-time guardrails of Service Catalogue.”
Both parties are excited about this new partnership and the potential benefits it brings to existing ActNow and AWS customers across UK.
